For Amazon Prime Video's docuseries This Giant Beast That Is the Global Economy, First Frame served as the local service production company for the Germany shoots, working in collaboration with production company IPC across Hamburg, Hannover, and Münster.
The eight-part series is produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Adam McKay (The Big Short, Vice), executive produced by Will Ferrell, and hosted by actor and former White House staff member Kal Penn. Each episode follows Penn across the world to expose the funny and mind-blowing ways money shapes everyone's life: from corruption and counterfeiting to cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and global supply chains. For the German shoots, First Frame coordinated all local production logistics, crew, and location access, integrating the German sequences seamlessly into a worldwide production spanning multiple continents.
