Notes
For The Amazing Race Season 23, First Frame service produced the Vienna episode, showcasing Austria's imperial capital in one of the season's most visually stunning and culturally rich legs.
The episode, titled "Choir Boy at Heart", took competing teams through some of Vienna's most iconic landmarks. In a Fast Forward challenge, one team had to complete a 500-foot bungee jump from the Donauturm, Austria's tallest structure, while other teams faced the Road Block challenge of learning and performing the Franz Schubert song "Die launische Forelle" alongside the world-renowned Vienna Boys' Choir at the Augarten Palais. Further locations included the Hofburg, Schloss Schönbrunn with its garden labyrinth at the Gloriette, and the Stadtpark.
Over two shooting days, First Frame coordinated over 100 local and US crew members alongside 14 competing teams and 34 supporting talents across some of Vienna's most frequented and logistically demanding heritage sites. As with all Amazing Race productions, the true challenge lies in preparation: Once the race begins, it cannot be paused, demanding flawless pre-production coordination across every location, permit, and challenge station.
Season 23 continued First Frame's long-standing partnership with World Race Productions and Executive Producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri, dating back to The Amazing Race Season 3 in 2002. Country Producer Michael Norton led the local coordination alongside First Frame's team.
